GALVANISED TURNBUCKLE- JAW/EYE

Description

Galvanised jaw/eye type open Turnbuckles, otherwise known as open body barrel strainers are intended to provide an adjustable rigging connection which applies tension between two components (usually wire ropes and suspension points). Meeting the working load limit performance requirements of ASTM F1145-05 Type 1 Grade 1 (formerly US FED SPEC FF-T-791b).

The open barrel design gives a clear indication of thread extension whilst both the eye and jaw provide safe connection points to ensure the rigging is securely fastened. A hot dip galvanised finish gives an added protection against corrosion in normal environments.
