Description
Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel – quenched and tempered – Kito Weissenfel’s Grade 8 Clevis Grab Hook enables the direct connection to another Grade 8 chain, whilst also being able to be utilised as a shortening device without any reduction of SWL of the chain sling capacity.
The ‘T’ shape in the bowl of the hooks is designed to support the chain, preventing any risk of deformation of the link, when used as a shortening device.
Conforming to BS EN 1677-1, the red painted finish provides easy visibility, while they also boast an incredible temperature range of -40ºC up to +400ºC making them highly suitable for a wide variety of arduous envinroments.
*NOTE: For correct use, this clevis grab hook must be assembled to a master link via three links of chain
