Description
These Peterson Bow Shackles have an E Type Safety Pin and are manufactured from Stainless Steel that is EN1008 1.4404 (Marine Grade 316) and is manufactured using the latest technology in electrical upset forging. The Bow Shackles are excellent for lifting applications where a high level of corrosion resistance is required and feature a safety rating of 6:1. The special design of the bolt ensures the nut is positioned correctly allowing sufficient room for the cotter pin.
The Bow Shackles are available in two different pin types:-
- E Type Safety Pin with Standard Nut (E Type)
- Nylok Nut (E Type-NY)
Every Shackle is proof tested to 2x its certified working load limit at Peterson’s manufacturing facility in the north east of England. All Shackles are manufactured in accordance to machinery directive 2006/42EC. These shackles are available with inspection certificates BS EN 10204 3.1 on request.
