Complying with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU, William Hackett’s range of ATEX-L4 lever hoists are ideal for lifting heavy loads – from 800kg right up to 10 tonnes – in potentially explosive environments.

Proof tested to 1.5 times the rated WLL, the ATEX-L4 lever hoist is tested and certified at 2% of the lever hoist rated capacity, and is fitted as standard with a twin pawl for double safety. Each unit is built with top and bottom hooks with heavy-duty cast steel latches, integrating to create a robust hook closure.

Manufactured in the UK to the highest standards, the L4 lever hoist can operate efficiently in temperatures from -20°C to +135°C, and are fitted with a load chain that complies with international standard BS EN818-7 Grade T (8), as well as being fully traceable thanks to the manufacturer’s mark on each unit.

The top and bottom hook assemblies, load chain guides, grip rings and chain stripper are copper plated, while other components are corrosion protected to prolong half-life in arduous conditions.
